BMW Confirms M6 Gran Coupe Model Coming in 2013

It was only unavoidable that we would see the new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe get the proper M treatment method as have nearly every other BMW series. According to Vehicle and Driver, BMW has now confirmed a new M6 Gran Coupe coming to the U.S. probable as a 2014 product year.

Spy photographers currently captured what appeared to be a new M6 Gran Coupe in screening. We even posted new renderings of what a new M6 Gran Coupe would search like. Now it is official, the new M6 Gran Coupe will borrow its M5 and M6 siblings twin- turbo V8 motor and 7 - velocity DCT dual -clutch transmission. Just like Vehicle and Driver, we hope to see them supply the U.S. edition of the new M6 Coupes six - speed manual transmission in the M6 Gran Coupe.

The new 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will compete with the current Benz CLS63 AMG and Porsche Panamera. We look for an official reveal of the M6 Gran Coupe about the stop of 2012 or early 2013 carrying a cost probably $10k to $15k north of the current 2013 M5 Sedans MSRP.
